Specific physical preparedness (SPP) [1]Also referred to as "Sport-specific Physical Preparedness. SPP is the status of being prepared for the movements of a specific activity - usually a sport. Specific physical preparedness training includes movements specific to an activity that can only be learned through repetition of those movements. The genral concept is to be trained using movements and equipment that enhance and perfect muscle movements required for a specific sport or task.
