A jump rope is a length of rope used in physical conditioning, such as boxing, martial arts, and cross-training. Popular exercises include double unders and cross-overs.

To pick the proper length for a jump rope, stand with the feet in the middle of the rope. Holding both ends of the rope, pull up towards your shoulders. The handles should reach your arm pit.
